Blechnum appendiculatum Willdenow. Common name: Hammock Fern. Phenology: Dec-Mar. Habitat: Rocky hammocks, moist forests. Distribution: S. GA south to s. FL; c. TX; West Indies; Mexico, Central America, South America; also collected once in LA, on the west bank of the Mississippi River in bottomland hardwoods in Iberville Parish, LA.
