*Chimonanthus praecox (Linnaeus) Link. Common name: Wintersweet. Phenology: Feb-Mar. Habitat: Suburban woodlands, persistent or weakly spreading from horticultural use. Distribution: Native of e. Asia. Reported as at least persistent in City of Alexandria, VA (Steury 2011).
