not marked as a favorite taxon Corema conradii (Torrey) Torrey ex Loudon. Common name: Broom-crowberry, 'Poverty-grass'. Phenology: Late Mar-May. Habitat: Dunes, openings in pine barrens. Distribution: NS, QC, NB, and PE south to ME, MA, NY, and s. NJ.
