*Danae racemosa (Linnaeus) Moench. Common name: Alexandrian Laurel. Habitat: Suburban forests; rare, uncommon in cultivation, rarely escaping to suburban forests. Distribution: Native of sw. Asia.

ID notes: The ‘leaves’ are actually cladophylls, representing modified stems.
