PoaceaeDigitaria leucocomaLake Ella CrabgrassLongleaf pine sandhills.Listed as endemic to sandhills near Lake Ella in Lake County, FL (Hall 2019), but no specimens were cited. The type (Syntherisma leucocoma; Nash 1155) appears to be the only discernible specimen, with no apparent collections since. Some specimens of D. villosa collected in the Lake Ella vicinity could be potentially redetermined to D. leucocoma; in the least botanists should closely examine any material with similarities to Digitaria villosa collected from this area.
