Jefea brevifolia (A. Gray) Strother. Common name: Boss Daisy, Shorthorn Zexmenia. Phenology: Jun-Oct. Habitat: Scrub over limestone or other calcareous substrate. Distribution: S. TX, w. TX, and s. NM south to n. Mexico (AGS, CHH, COA, DGO, NLE, SLP, TAM, ZAC).

Origin/Endemic status: Native
