Karwinskia humboldtiana (J.A. Schultes) A. Gray. Common name: Coyotillo. Phenology: May-Jun (-Sep). Habitat: Ravines and stream bottoms. Distribution: S. and Trans-Pecos TX south to a widespread distribution in Mexico.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy : = FNA12, K4, NcTx, S13, Tx. Basionym: Rhamnus humboldtiana Willd. ex Schult. 1819
