Moehringia lateriflora (Linnaeus) Fenzl. Common name: Grove-sandwort, Blunt-leaved Sandwort. Phenology: Apr-Jul. Habitat: Prairies, wet meadows, swamps, and (in VA) rocky, disturbed areas (powerline) over mafic rocks (diabase). Distribution: Circumboreal, ranging south in North America to n. VA (Fairfax County), n. WV (Morton et al. 2004), MO, and CA.
