Notholaena standleyi Maxon. Common name: Star Cloak Fern. Habitat: On rock outcrops. Distribution: Sc. OK, se. CO and c. AZ south through w. TX and NM to c. Mexico.

ID notes: A small rock fern with pentagonal leaf outline and creamy-yellow farina covering the lower leaf surface.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
