Gelsemium A.L. de Jussieu. Common name: Yellow Jessamine.
A genus of 3 species, lianas, our 2 species in se. North America (and also Central America) and 1 species in e. Asia. See Wyatt et al. (1993) and Duncan & Dejong (1964) for extensive discussions of morphology, habitat, pollination, genetics, distribution, and evolutionary relationships of our two species of Gelsemium.
