*Cabanisia paniculata (Sprengel) A. Haines. Common name: Brazilian Water-hyacinth. Habitat: Drainage ditches; apparently only a waif. Distribution: Native of tropical America, not collected in our region since 1907 (Horn in FNA 2002a; Small 1933).
