*Blackstonia perfoliata (Linnaeus) Hudson. Common name: Yellow-wort. Phenology: Apr-May. Habitat: Disturbed area in Port of Charleton. Distribution: Native of Mediterranean and w. Europe. Reported for the Post of Charleton (Charleston County), SC (K. Bradley, pers.comm. 2022).

Origin/Endemic status: Mediterranean Europe and Africa

Synonymy : = Stace (2021); = n/a — RAB. Basionym: Gentiana perfoliata L. 1753
