Adiantum tenerum Swartz. clade: tenerum clade. Common name: Brittle Maidenhair. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Shaded limestone outcrops and adjacent calcareous soils, in ledges and sinkholes. Distribution: N. FL (Alachua and St. Johns counties) south to s. FL; West Indies; Mexico, Central America south to n. South America.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
