*Allamanda cathartica Linnaeus. Common name: Golden-trumpet, Brownbud Allamanda. Habitat: Dry disturbed areas, disturbed hammocks, dunes, abandoned citrus groves. Distribution: Native of ne. South America.

Origin/Endemic status: Neotropics
