*Anthephora hermaphrodita (Linnaeus) Kuntze. Phenology: Jul-Nov. Habitat: Growing along a stream in Alachua County, FL (Pond A; IND-26577), otherwise rarely persisting from cultivation. Distribution: Native of tropical America.

Origin/Endemic status: Neotropics

Synonymy : = Bah, FlGr, FNA25, K4, NS, POWO; Tripsacum hermaphroditum Linnaeus. Basionym: Tripsacum hermaphroditum L. 1759
