*Arachniodes simplicior (Makino) Ohwi. Simpler East Indian Holly Fern. Hab: Moist banks in forested creek ravines. Dist: Native of Japan and China. Gordon (1981) discussed the SC population, apparently established for several decades at the time of its discovery, and likely originating from spores.
