*Ardisia solanacea Roxburgh. Common name: China-shrub. Phenology: June. Habitat: Disturbed hammocks. Distribution: Native of Asia.

Origin/Endemic status: E. and se. Asia

Other Comments: Known from a single collection (York s.n.) in Hillsborough County, FL, hypothesized to be spreading from a nearby nursery.

Synonymy : = Fl5, WH3; = Bladhia solanacea (Roxb.) Nakai; < Ardisia elliptica Thunb. — FNA8, K4. Basionym: Ardisia solanacea Roxb. 1795
