Aristida dichotoma Michaux. Common name: Fork-tip Three-awn, Poverty Grass. Phenology: Aug-Nov. Habitat: Roadsides, fields, disturbed areas, bare eroding soil. Distribution: ME west to WI, south to n. FL and TX.
