not marked as a favorite taxon Aristida palustris (Chapman) Vasey. Common name: Longleaf Three-awn. Phenology: Aug-Oct. Habitat: Wet pine savannas and flatwoods, limesink depressions. Distribution: Se. NC south to FL, west to TX. A record from the Cumberland Plateau of KY (Laurel County) is a false report.
