Aristida patula Chapman ex Nash. Common name: Tall Three-awn. Phenology: Jun-Nov. Habitat: Dry to moist sandy soils of pond margins, pine flatwoods, sabal palm hammock margins, other pinelands, dunes, pastures. Distribution: Endemic to FL Panhandle (Dixie, Franklin, Gadsden, Leon, Taylor, and Wakulla counties) (Wunderlin & Hansen 2006) and peninsula.
