Bacopa

not marked as a favorite taxon Bacopa monnieri (Linnaeus) Pennell. Common name: Brahmi, Indian-pennywort, Herb-of-grace, Monnier's Water-hyssop, Pourpier de Marais (frc). Phenology: Apr-Sep (-Jan). Habitat: Freshwater tidal marshes, muddy shores, streams and pools. Distribution: E. Maryland and e. Virginia south to s. Florida, west to c. Texas, and in the West Indies and the New World subtropics and tropics; also Old World tropics and subtropics. Reported for s. Indiana by Bill Thomas (pers.comm., 2022).
