Bartonia virginica (Linnaeus) Britton, Sterns, & Poggenburg. Common name: Virginia Bartonia, Yellow Bartonia. Phenology: Jul-Oct; Sep-Oct. Habitat: Bogs, swamps, pine savannas, pocosin ecotones, pocosins, dune swales. Distribution: NS and QC west to WI, south to s. FL, LA, and e. TX (Singhurst & Bridges 2024).

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy : = C, F, Fl5, G, GW2, Il, K4, Mi, Mo3, NE, NY, Pa, RAB, S, Tat, Tn, Va, WH3, Drake (2011), Gillett (1959), Mathews et al (2009); Sagina virginica Linnaeus. Basionym: Sagina virginica L. 1753
