not marked as a favorite taxon Bothriochloa barbinodis (Lagasca y Segura) Herter. Common name: Cane Bluestem, Pinhole Bluestem. Phenology: May-Oct. Habitat: Sandy or rocky limestone soils, eastward in disturbed areas, including roadsides. Distribution: OK and TX west to CA, south into Mexico, n. Central America, and South America.
