not marked as a favorite taxon Campyloneurum phyllitidis (Linnaeus) C. Presl. Common name: Long Strap Fern. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Hammocks and swamps, epiphytic (especially on Quercus virginiana, Fraxinus cubensis, and Annona glabra, but also on lower trunks of Nyssa biflora, Magnolia virginiana var. australis, and other trees) or epilithic. Distribution: Peninsular FL; West Indies; Mexico, Central America, and South America.
