Carex frankii Kunth. Section: [26uu] Section 34 Squarrosae. Common name: Frank’s Sedge, Cattail Sedge. Phenology: May-Jul (-Sep). Habitat: Bottomland forests, other wet to moist forests and disturbed areas. Distribution: W. NY and s. ON west to MI and se. NE, south to GA, AR, and OK.
