Castilleja indivisa Engelmann. Common name: Texas Paintbrush. Phenology: Mar-May. Habitat: Prairies, sandy or silty woodlands, eastwards adventive in dry, disturbed areas, such as roadsides. Distribution: AR and OK south to w. LA and TX and Mexico (AGU and CHH).

Origin/Endemic status: Native
