Chamaecrista horizontalis A.R. Franck. Series: Chamaecrista. Phenology: Late May-early Aug. Habitat: Longleaf pine sandhills, other dry longleaf pine woodlands, disturbed sandy areas. Distribution: Sw. and wc. GA (Jones & Coile 1988) south to s. peninsular FL, Panhandle FL, and west to s. MS (Sorrie & Leonard 1999).
