Distribution: FL peninsula (Brevard County on the east coast and Collier County on the west coast, southwards); West Indies (Bahamas, Cuba, Hispaniola, Jamaica, Puerto Rico); Mexico (SLP, CHP).
Origin/Endemic status: Native
Taxonomy Comments: Ssp. angustifolium (Lamarck) T.D. Pennington is endemic to Hispaniola.
