Corchorus siliquosus Linnaeus. Common name: Slippery Bur, Smooth Corchorus. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Roadsides, disturbed rockland hammocks, other disturbed upland areas. Distribution: Native of West Indies, Mexico, Central America and perhaps s. FL.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
