*Crotalaria lanceolata E. Meyer ssp. lanceolata. Common name: Lanceleaf Rattlebox. Phenology: Jul-Oct; Aug-Nov. Habitat: Sandy fields, roadsides, other disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of e. Africa.

Origin/Endemic status: Subsaharan Africa

Taxonomy Comments: Other subspecies occur in Africa (Nesom 2023b).
