Cyperus lecontei Torrey ex Steudel. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Limesink ponds, low pinelands and seepages, interdune ponds, ditches, wet sands along roads, and other disturbed areas. Distribution: Se. NC south to s. FL, west to w. LA. Sorrie (1998b) reports it for e. GA (Glynn County).
