Desmodium sessilifolium Torrey & A. Gray. Common name: Sessile-leaf Tick-trefoil. Phenology: Jul-Aug; Aug-Oct. Habitat: Dry woodlands. Distribution: RI west to s. MI and KS, south to NC, Panhandle FL, MS, and TX.
