Dichanthelium longiligulatum (Nash) Freckmann. Common name: Long-ligule Witchgrass. Phenology: May-Sep. Habitat: Limesink ponds, depression meadows, cypress savannas, pine savannas, bogs, swamps. Distribution: NJ and PA south to FL, also in TN, KY (KYNPC, pers.comm., 2024), e. TX, and Central America.
Origin/Endemic status: Native
Other Comments: Intermediate forms between this taxon and D. spretum occur.
