Dichanthelium ensifolium (Baldwin ex Elliott) Gould. Common name: Small-leaved Witchgrass. Phenology: May-Oct. Habitat: Wet to mesic peaty, sandy, or mucky soils, often in open pinelands or with Sphagnum. Distribution: NJ south to FL, west to e. TX and AR.
