*Dichanthium aristatum (Poiret) C.E. Hubbard. Common name: Angleton's Bluestem. Phenology: Nov-Apr. Habitat: Lawns, roadsides, other disturbed areas. Sometimes used as a lawn grass. Distribution: Native of s. and se. Asia. Naturalized in TX, LA, and TX.

Origin/Endemic status: E. and se. Asia

Synonymy : = ETx1, FlGr, FNA25, K4, NS, POWO, Tx, WH3; Andropogon aristatus Poiret. Basionym: Andropogon aristatus Poir. 1811
