Dodonaea viscosa Jacquin. Common name: Common Varnishleaf, Common Hopbush. Phenology: Dec-Apr. Habitat: Dunes, margins of dry hammocks, sandy coastal hammock. Distribution: Widespread in the Old World and New World tropics, north in FL to St. Johns County. In FL, this taxon occurs primarily along the east coast (Gann et al. 2017).
