Elodea canadensis Michaux. Common Waterweed. Phen: Jul-Sep. Hab: Rivers, lakes, ponds, stagnant waters of streams. Dist: QC west to SK, south to NC, Panhandle FL, n. AR, OK, NM, and CA, the southern distribution perhaps only introduced.
