Eragrostis polytricha Nees. Common name: Hairysheath Lovegrass. Phenology: Mar-Oct. Habitat: Pinelands. Distribution: From Alachua County, FL south to c. FL, southward to Mexico, Central America, and South America.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Other Comments: The c. TX herbarium records were based upon misapplied synonyms and hence are rejected (J. Kartesz, pers. comm.; 2024).
