Erigeron quercifolius Lamarck. Common name: Oak-leaved Fleabane. Phenology: (Late Dec-) Apr-Jun. Habitat: Sandy roadsides, disturbed areas. Distribution: Se. VA south to s. FL, west to FL Panhandle; Bahamas. Nesom (2006bb) pointed out that putative records from further west are based on misidentifications; these are likely E. tenuis.

Leaves: Basal leaves in a rosette up to 6 in. wide, oblong-lance-shaped to oblong-oval, to 5 in. long, wavy-margined to lobed (reminiscent of oak leaves); stem leaves few, alternate, sessile-clasping, shorter and often lobed.
