*Ficus americana Aublet. Common name: Jamaican Cherry Fig, West Indian Laurel Fig. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Suburban woodlands, disturbed hammocks. Distribution: Native of the Neotropics (Mexico to South America; West Indies).
