not marked as a favorite taxon Forestiera godfreyi L.C. Anderson. Common name: Godfrey's Forestiera. Phenology: Jan-Feb; Apr-May. Habitat: Shell middens, maritime forests over shell substrate. Distribution: Se. South Carolina (Beaufort, Charleston, and Colleton counties) to e. Georgia and n. peninsular and e. Panhandle Florida.
