Heliotropium angiospermum J. Murray. Common name: Scorpiontail, Sorebush, Scorpionbush. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Maritime hammocks, coastal berms, strands, and grasslands, shell middens. Distribution: C. and s. peninsular FL; West Indies; s. TX south through Mexico, Central America, and South America.
