not marked as a favorite taxon *Hypoestes phyllostachya J.G. Baker. Common name: Polka Dot Plant. Phenology: Jun-Sep. Habitat: Suburban woodlands, escaped from cultivation. Distribution: Native of Madagascar. Reported for Leon and Alachua counties, Florida (Wunderlin & Hansen 2011).
