Imperata brasiliensis Trinius. Common name: Brazilian Satintail, Brazilian Blady-grass. Phenology: Feb-May. Habitat: Pine rocklands, mesic flatwoods. Native and relatively conservative in its s. FL habitat. Distribution: S. FL; West Indies and other parts of the Neotropics. In our area, Burrell et al. (2015) found evidence of this taxon only in s. FL.
