Imperata

not marked as a favorite taxon Imperata brasiliensis Trinius. Common name: Brazilian Satintail, Brazilian Blady-grass. Phenology: Feb-May. Habitat: Pine rocklands, mesic flatwoods. Native and relatively conservative in its s. FL habitat. Distribution: S. Florida; West Indies and other parts of the Neotropics. In our region, Burrell et al. (2015) found evidence of this taxon only in s. Florida.
