*Kickxia spuria (Linnaeus) Dumortier. Common name: Round-leaved Fluellen, Female Fluellen. Phenology: May-Sep. Habitat: Ballast near old ports (Wilmington, NC; Pensacola, FL; Mobile, AL; etc.), streambanks, other disturbed sites, perhaps only a waif. Distribution: Native of Mediterranean Europe, n. Africa, and w. Asia.
