Leersia oryzoides (Linnaeus) Swartz. Common name: Rice Cutgrass. Phenology: Jun-Nov. Habitat: Marshes, riverbanks, pond-shores, and a wide diversity of other wetlands. Distribution: NS west to BC, south to Panhandle FL and CA; also in Europe and e. Asia (where probably introduced).
