*Liriope spicata Loureiro. Common name: Creeping Lilyturf. Phenology: Aug-Oct. Habitat: Commonly planted, persistent and escaping, locally abundant. Distribution: Native of China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, and Vietnam.

Origin/Endemic status: E. and se. Asia

Synonymy : = Ar, FNA26, K4, NS, POWO, WH3, Judd (2003), Nesom (2010j), Serviss et al (2016), not formally treated; = Liriope spicatum — Il, orthographic variant; = n/a — RAB, Tat. Basionym: Liriope spicata Lour. 1790
