Lysiloma latisiliquum (Linnaeus) Bentham. Common name: Wild Tamarind, Bahama Lysiloma, Dormido, Salam, Salom, Tzalam. Phenology: Feb-Jun. Habitat: Pine rocklands, pineland hammocks, disturbed uplands. Distribution: S. peninsular FL; West Indies (Cuba, Bahamas, nw. Hispaniola); Mexico (Yucatan peninsula), Guatemala, Belize.
