Malus angustifolia (Aiton) Michaux. Common name: Wild Crabapple. Phenology: Apr-May; Aug-Sep. Habitat: Forests, woodlands, fence-rows, dry hammocks, occasionally in bottomlands. Distribution: NJ, PA, OH, s. IL, and se. MO, south to n. peninsular FL, Panhandle FL, and e. TX.
Origin/Endemic status: Endemic
