*Marsilea quadrifolia Linnaeus. Common name: European Waterclover. Phenology: Jun-Dec. Habitat: Shallow water of artificial impoundments. Distribution: Native of Europe and Asia. Sold in garden stores as an aquatic to be grown in water gardens, and likely to be encountered more widely in the future.
